Missy Gauthreaux

Missy Gauthreaux has owned Accounting Resources and Management Services for 10 years. She is an avid reader, teacher, and volunteer. She volunteers at St Michael’s the Archangel Church as a lector. She is also very involved with her daughter’s school and Girl Scouts. Missy and her husband of 24 years, Cyril, are originally from Louisiana but now call Palm Harbor, Florida their home. Together, they have five children and 11 grandchildren.

 

Missy learned of the idea of A.W.A.K.E. International Ministries from her good friend, Julie Hirschauer. Julie’s enthusiasm and vision for the mission drew her in. Missy and Cyril like to be involved in endeavors that help people help themselves. Their family follows the philosophy “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” AWAKE lined up perfectly with this philosophy so she is happy to serve on the board of directors as their financial officer.
