Mike studied at Boise Bible College before completing his degree at The Londen Institute for Evangelism, a specialized program of Hope International University. Jeanette received her degree in Mass Communication at the Philippines Christian University before earning a Master's degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Ministry from The Londen Institute for Evangelism. Together they have built and manage Village of Hope, a community in the Philippines where new families are built of once-orphaned, abandoned, or abused children. They have trained church planters in 23 or the Philippines' 81 provinces, as well as church planters from three other Asian nations. Recently they opened Refuge of Hope, providing emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. They live in Bohol, an island province in the Philippines, along with their two sons, Luke and Mark.
